Jiancheng (JC) Yang, Principal Investigator at the ELLIS Institute Finland and Assistant Professor at Aalto University, will share current research directions and opportunities in AI for health. Yang leads the Health Intelligence (HINT) research group, focusing on:

• Medical image analysis
• 3D vision and spatial intelligence
• Gnerative AI and multimodal learning
• Foundation models for lung cancer and cardiac disease diagnostics

He is widely known for developing MedMNIST, has authored over 60 publications, and brings experience as a medical AI startup co-founder.
