This service provides early‑stage support for understanding ethical, regulatory and safety requirements in AI development. Using the EU AI Act Compliance Checker | AI Act Service Desk it offers an initial risk analysis that clarifies your system’s likely obligations from the outset, reducing uncertainty, avoiding costly redesigns and enabling a smoother path toward compliant, trustworthy AI. The guidance provided through this service is non‑binding and does not constitute legal advice.
The service includes three 1-hour online expert sessions.
1. Scoping and initial risk analysis: You describe your AI system or model, its intended purpose and main use cases. With expert support, you perform an initial risk assessment using the EU AI Office’s Compliance Checker to understand the likely risk category and regulatory obligations. Together, we define the key ethical, regulatory and safety considerations for the early development stage.
2. Early guidance: You receive clear, practical guidance on European requirements and best practices for developing trustworthy and compliant AI
3. Risk and gap review: We identify key risks and gaps, such as bias or discrimination, and discuss how they may affect your system’s development and expected performance.
4. Next step recommendations: You receive targeted, actionable recommendations to support progress toward compliant and trustworthy AI development.
