LUMI AI Factory Hub Ostrava is a modern, flexible workspace located near IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Center designed to provide coworking space and connect AI startups, SMEs researchers, innovators, and students to address artificial intelligence challenges.
The Hub offers versatile facilities for the AI community.
- Resident Facilities: Options for long-term team residency as well as short-term access via Day Passes.
- Shared Coworking Space: A total of 32 workstations, comprising fixed desks with monitors for privacy and community tables for collaboration.
- Event Spaces: Adaptable areas within IT4Innovations suitable for large-scale workshops, expert training sessions, and presentations.

eligibility
To determine if an applicant is a suitable candidate, we evaluate their alignment with our mission of fostering responsible AI innovation and their potential to actively contribute to the hub’s ecosystem.
Selection process
Selection is based on a structured internal system that assesses technical depth, professional reliability, and the growth potential of the proposed AI project
We prioritise teams whose work represents genuine AI applications – whether as a core service or a solution to a critical pain point – ensuring they can both benefit from and add value to our community.
evaluation
The evaluation is weighted across several key categories, including relevance to the LUMI AI Factory mission (10%), technical depth (20%), and the potential for community engagement (20%)
Candidates must also meet essential eligibility criteria, such as being based in a EuroHPC JU participating country and holding a valid company registration number.
