Unlocking European AI potential: AI Factories for innovation & competitiveness

To strengthen Europe’s competitiveness in AI, the EU has made vast investments in AI Factories and Antennas. These initiatives serve as one-stop innovation hubs, combining world-class computing infrastructure, high-quality data and expert support to help startups, SMEs, researchers and industry leaders across Europe to accelerate the development and deployment of AI solutions.

The LUMI AI Factory celebrates the European AI Innovation Month by hosting a  high-level online webinar, bringing together funders, and prominent European AI Factories and Antennas to explore how these infrastructures enable AI innovation in Europe across key industry sectors.

This interactive 90-minute workshop features a presentation from EuroHPC JU to show the strategic role of AI Factories and upcoming gigafactories in supporting the implementation of European AI policy, lightning talks from AI Factories to demonstrate how these infrastructures benefit European businesses through real world use cases, and a panel discussion on how AI factories help in unlocking European innovation potential.

The webinar is designed for start-ups, SMEs, industry professionals, and funders, seeking to understand how Europe’s AI infrastructures can support their AI ambitions. Whether the participants are experienced users of computing and data services or just getting started with their AI journeys, they will leave with clearer understanding of the opportunities offered by the European AI Factory ecosystem.
