Receiving computing resources through EuroHPC or national calls would make it possible for you to develop and test your AI solution without HPC computing costs.

The support can include:

• Expert Consultation: Online or email-based consultation with LUMI AI Factory experts tailored to your use case
• Proposal Revision: Expert review and feedback on your application drafts to ensure they are ready for submission
• Application Templates: Access to application templates to streamline your application process
• Preparation Guidance: A comprehensive list of necessary information you need to prepare before applying
• Broad Infrastructure Support: Assistance is available even for proposals not directly connected to LUMI infrastructure

Access/Output Requirements

To receive support, you must provide to proposal:

• Technical Details: Most importantly information on the software, frameworks, and tools currently used in your code base need to be known and prepared
• Project Intent: A clear goal (e.g. Proof of Concept, scaling an existing project)
• Work Plan: A general project plan and details of the team involved (Principal Investigator is required; other members can be added later)

Target groups

Startups, SMEs, research institutions, universities, and public administration including those not specifically applying for the LUMI supercomputer.

Request process

1. Initial Request: Fill out the contact form on our website.

2. Personal Consultation: Our Customer Manager will contact you to discuss your needs.

3. Pathfinding & Expert Matching: Your manager will help identify the most suitable resource pathway (e.g. EuroHPC JU, national calls) and connect you with a technical expert if a deep-dive review is required.

Pricing

The LUMI AI Factory consultation is open and free of charge for startups and SMEs from the EU Member States and countries associated with the Horizon Europe programme.
