LUMI AI Factory Open Weight Large Language Model Hackathon

Join us for a full day hackathon on using Open Weight Large Language Models for your own applications!

The hackathon organisers will arrange a chance to run a selection of Large Language models on LUMI AI Factory hosted LUMI Aitta environment as well as University of Helsinki computing cluster for the duration of the hackathon. You can also use your own compute providers / laptops to try out LLMs on your own.

The aim is to create novel applications based Open Weight LLMs with your team during the hackathon. Teams of 3-5 students formed at the start of the hackathon; either bring your own team or find a team when the hackathon starts.

Main target group: M.Sc. and B.Sc. students from University of Helsinki Kumpula Campus. Aalto University and Universities of Applied Science students are also very welcome!

ECTS credits: 1 ECTS available from course “TKT21999 Optional Intermediate studies (LUMI AI Factory LLM Hackathon)” for University of Helsinki students with full-time attendance of the hackathon as part of a team.
