CSC – IT Center for Science and Terkko Health Hub have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The measures outlined in the agreement are closely linked to the activities of the LUMI AI Factory.

By providing Terkko’s community with access to world‑class supercomputing infrastructure and expert support, the partnership accelerates the development and scaling of AI‑driven health and life sciences solutions across Finland and Europe. In addition to promoting AI opportunities and LUMI AI Factory services within Terkko’s health innovation community, Terkko gets to use LUMI AI Factory Hubs as a space for events as part of the collaboration.

– Our collaboration with Terkko Health Hub brings LUMI AI Factory services even closer to members of the Terkko startup community. They now have access to one of the world’s most powerful supercomputers, along with the expert support needed to get started developing new AI-based solutions for the health and life sciences industry, says Aleksi Kallio, Director of LUMI AI Factory Services.

– At Terkko Health Hub, our mission is to connect the health and life science early-stage startups and pre-startups with the tools and partners they need to thrive. This MoU with CSC opens the door to one of Europe’s most powerful supercomputing environments for our community. For companies working on AI-driven healthcare innovations, this partnership removes a critical bottleneck and helps them move faster from idea to impact, states Aleksandra Dobrego, General Manager, Terkko Health Hub.
