Introducing Matchmaking platform: from needs to solutions, from connections to collaboration
2 mins read
LUMI AI Factory is expanding its service portfolio with AI Finland’s 10x Matchmaking platform, a new tool designed to help organisations based in Finland to identify AI opportunities, find suitable partners, and accelerate the path from challenge to solution. By connecting public sector organisations, companies, and researchers around shared needs and expertise, the service helps turn ideas into practical AI collaborations. The platform is currently available to organisations in Finland, where it supports the development of new AI-driven partnerships and innovation projects.
10x Matchmaking helps you find AI solutions and partners
AI Finland’s 10x Matchmaking connects organisations’ development needs with solutions from Finnish companies and researchers. The service aims to simplify problem identification by connecting organisations with the right partners.
Development needs, solutions, and prior experiences often vary across different organisations. 10x aims to facilitate their integration and reduce redundant research. In the service, the person with the need describes the problem, and the solution provider explains what their product or service does.
Get started in your own words
Users can begin by chatting with an AI assistant. The assistant asks clarifying questions and compiles a needs profile based on the answers. Users can also import product or service information from a website, text, or file. Information suggested by the AI is reviewed before being saved.
The service helps identify potentially suitable solutions and partners and explains why they’re compatible. The goal is also to connect organizations tackling similar challenges and leverage work that has already been done.
A match starts a collaboration
You can send a contact request to a user you’re interested in, specify the collaboration topic, and suggest the next step. Once the request is approved, the conversation can continue within the service. Users can also limit a card’s visibility, for example, to their own organization or to selected organizations.
AI Finland builds and operates the service as part of its work to strengthen the Finnish AI ecosystem. Currently the service is available in Finland.
